YOUR INFORMATION

Unlike a traditional classified site, our Core Service is personalised. The information that you input during your use of the Core Service, and information that we collect during your usage belongs to us. In addition, anonymous metadata ( data about data) generated by us in the course of disseminating or assembling your data is our property. A subset of your information is Personal Information, covered by our Privacy Policy.

READING YOUR INFORMATION

Using the Core Service requires answering questions that help us understand your current and future vehicle usage. We then suggest content based on what you tell us. You should be aware that the ability for Kaar.ai to carry out this process relies on information from third-party providers (such as AI service providers or classified websites) to which we provide some access to your information in an anonymised manner.

SECURITY

We take the security of your information seriously. Data in Kaar.ai, including Personal Information, is protected using industry-standard controls throughout its lifecycle.

• In transit: All connections to our applications and APIs are encrypted using TLS 1.2+ with modern cipher suites and HSTS. We do not permit insecure protocols.
• At rest: All primary data stores and backups are encrypted using AES‑256 or platform-managed encryption.
• Access control: Production systems follow least-privilege, role-based access control and multi‑factor authentication. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel and is logged and reviewed.
• Application security: We follow OWASP best practices, conduct code reviews, dependency scanning and regular vulnerability management. Secrets are stored in a secure secrets manager.
• Monitoring & incident response: Systems are monitored for anomalous activity. If a security incident is confirmed, we will investigate, mitigate, and notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by law.
• Backups & retention: Encrypted backups are maintained for disaster recovery and retained only as long as necessary for operational and legal purposes. When data is deleted, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is removed from active systems and scheduled from backups.
• Responsible disclosure: If you believe you have found a vulnerability, please contact security@kaar.ai.

PROVISION OF FUNCTIONALITY

Because the functionality of Kaar.ai is dependent upon several underlying third party technology providers, that means our ability to provide uninterrupted service is dependent upon them. If these third parties are discontinued, restricted, or substantially altered in some way, you should expect changes and disruptions to the Kaar.ai service.
